Our HYDROCARE Conditioning Systems address hard minerals such as calcium, magnesium and Chlorine.  The filtered water is then passed through our HYDROCARE system, affecting the water’s molecular structure… creating a “soft” water effect.  Some of the benefits of conditioned water are:  The elimination of hard water stains, no more shower soap scum, softer more manageable hair, younger feeling skin, cleaner and brighter clothes using less detergent.

Unlike traditional softeners, NO salt or chemicals are needed… thus the entire HYDROCARE system is chemical free.

With the CENTURION’s unique self-contained design; our automatic back flush controls keeps the KDF media clean, for years of unchanged use, making the CENTURION maintenance free.

The key component in our systems is a proprietary blend of KDF.  KDF is a process media of high purity copper zinc granules that use redox (a natural exchange or transfer of electrons) to effectively remove chlorine, heavy metals and microorganisms from your water.  This means that KDF media exchange electrons with contaminants, changing most into harmless components, such as chlorine to chloride.  Other harmful contaminants such as lead and heavy metals, bond to the KDF media.

What makes KDF redox filter media truly in a class by itself, is that NO CHEMICAL additives are required in order for an exchange process to be effective.  KDF has been classified by the U.S. EPA as a non-chemical.

When you go to the grocery store and purchase a loaf of bread, it is packaged in a plastic wrapper… you don’t eat the wrapper!

Consider the treatment of municipal drinking water.  Chlorine, “THE WRAPPER”, is put into the drinking water at the municipal treatment plant to disinfect and protect the water in the distribution system.  When you “bring the water home” you should remove the chlorine “WRAPPER” before you drink the water.  Chlorine in drinking water can taste and smell bad.
